Food Bank

St. Bart’s is proud to offer “no barrier” programs!

“No barrier” means that everyone is welcome to receive our services and no one in need is ever turned away!   You do not have to show identification or proof of where you live.  All are welcome to receive services from St. Bart’s!

St. Bart’s offered its first Food Bank in 2010, in response to a need to serve those who face food insecurity in our community.   We are always striving to respond to the needs of the vulnerable people – please tell us how we can help!

St. Bart’s Monthly Food BankAll are Welcome!

The third Wednesday of every month – 10:00 AM to 3:00pm

659 North Road, Gibsons, B.C. – Follow the signs the Parish Hall entrance

We offer non-perishable food hampers, fresh fruit/vegetables, eggs, meat and many additional food and household items.   It’s like a shopping experience where clients can choose their own food items. What do our clients say about our Food bank program?   “St. Bart’s makes a huge difference. It’s the only place where our dignity is intact when we leave.”

Client Quote:

“I can’t even get into how much all of you and St Bart’s mean to me and my family. You have gone above and beyond to help us over the years and to be honest I am not sure how we would be here without all of you. You don’t usually see my face as I am disabled and my wife comes in, but I definitely want you all to know the absolute deep love, respect, and incredible appreciation I have for all of you and everything you all do for not just me, or my family, but for everyone. Thank you for making this community, as well as this world a better place!” (St. Bart’s Food Bank Client)
